Rockstar Games has released a new update for GTA V, version 1.008.001, without prior announcement. Given the lack of new features or content details, fans believe this is a minor update focused on fixing bugs. The update is small: about 300 MB on PS5 and 600 MB on Xbox Series S|X, making it much smaller than larger content patches.
Although the exact changes haven’t been revealed, players can look back at updates from January 9 and December 2024 for recent content additions. These included the El Strickler Rifle, Random Transform Races, and new vehicles like the Vapid Firebolt ASP and Invetero Coquette D10 Pursuit, along with festive rewards during the holiday season.
