The latest leak for Rockstar Games’ upcoming open-world action-adventure game, GTA VI, has revealed details on in-game barber shops, a “Cigarettes & Drugs” mechanic, and more.
According to a new leak from Cyberleeks (via Gyatto- on Reddit), the footage shows co-protagonist Lucia visiting Kurt’s Barber Shop, where players can choose from nine hairstyles with five colour options. The shop also features a unique “Platinum-Pink Ombre Straight Lob” style. Interestingly, an NPC reacts to Lucia’s outfit, while her voice sounds realistically muffled when speaking with a motorcycle helmet on. Bad Bunny and El Alfa’s “La Romana” reportedly plays in the background.
The leaked GTA VI footage also reveals a “Cigarettes & Drugs” tab on the item wheel. Lucia can pick up and smoke a joint, reducing her health while granting a “Focus Overpowered” buff. The Focus mechanic reportedly helps players locate the sources of noises.
Other gameplay details include pool, extensive clothing customization, and toggleable body armour that can appear over outfits. Various Vice City football and basketball jerseys are shown, alongside sportswear. One unlockable basketball outfit reportedly requires players to score at 100 different hoops, suggesting numerous basketball locations across the map.
The leak concludes with a cutscene allegedly taken from the final mission, “The End of the Road.” Its context remains unclear, although it offers a glimpse of the Keys. Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin'” accompanies the scene, potentially hinting at a Sopranos finale reference.
This is expected to be Cyberleeks’ final leak, as a playable build is unlikely after their cryptocurrency failed to reach the intended market cap.
A prior leak from the same individual showed free roam driving in a vintage car through Vice City’s streets, Lucia’s close-quarters combat, with backhand slaps and wrestling maneuvers that differ noticeably from Jason’s fighting style. Environmental interactions are also present in the footage, with the co-protagonist pushing an NPC against a wall before taking them down.
