Bandai Namco Entertainment America has released a new gameplay walkthrough for Gundam Rogue Orbit, showcasing the game’s mission structure, high-speed combat and mobile suit customization ahead of its launch on March 5, 2027.
The game puts players in control of Rex, the pilot of the Gundam Helix, as humanity faces forces unleashed by the Apocalypse. The new trailer follows Rex from mission briefings aboard the special service craft Stellarvane through deployment and combat against waves of enemies.
Players can customize the Gundam Helix before each mission, with options covering its weapons, frame, skills and color scheme. These choices allow players to build the mobile suit around their preferred combat style.
Combat features multi-directional movement and large-scale battles against Apocalypse enemies. Players will need to identify and target individual weak points, while the Over-rise ability can temporarily enhance the Gundam Helix’s performance.
The Gundam Helix can also use AP Unit Burst, a powerful attack designed to shift the momentum of battles against the game’s larger enemies.
Gundam Rogue Orbit will launch on March 5, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. Pre-orders are currently available for the Standard, Launch, Deluxe and Collector’s Editions.
