Helldivers 2 update 6.2.2, titled Machinery of Oppression, delivers a mix of new content and sweeping balance adjustments. The update introduces two new biomes, a fresh enemy variant, and a significant rework of Exo suits, making them more durable while refining how they function in combat.
Beyond content additions, the patch makes extensive adjustments to weapons, enemies, and stratagems, alongside a large number of bug fixes and performance improvements. It is a broad update that touches nearly every system, with some changes clearly aimed at long-standing community concerns.
