Helldivers 2 Update 6.3.0 Adds Galactic Campaigns, Balance Changes, and New Features

Arrowhead Game Studios has released Helldivers 2 Update 6.3.0, titled Machinery of Oppression, bringing new Galactic Campaigns, a dedicated Control Center terminal, a new Forest (Fall) biome, and extensive gameplay improvements. The update also introduces Bastion Tank customization support, major vehicle and armor rebalancing, and additional quality-of-life upgrades for Helldivers across the galaxy.

This patch delivers a substantial balance pass affecting weapons, stratagems, enemies, vehicles, and throwables. Reloading has been overhauled, Exosuit cooldowns have been reduced, and numerous bug fixes address crashes, weapon behavior, enemy interactions, mission issues, and gameplay systems.

    • Reload commands can be queued for up to 1.2 seconds when immediate reloading is unavailable.

Exosuit Improvements

  • Reduced Exosuit cooldown from 10 minutes to 8 minutes.
  • Increased Exosuit health from 1600 to 1800.
  • Increased arm health from 600 to 800.
  • Increased leg health from 400 to 550.

Balance Changes

Vehicle and Armor Rebalance

  • Reworked vehicle armor values across Super Earth vehicles.
  • Bastion Tank now uses heavy armor.
  • Exosuits now use a mix of medium and heavy armor.
  • Ballistic Shield now uses heavy armor.
  • Increased Fast Recon Vehicle durability.
  • Adjusted enemy armor penetration values against vehicles.

Sentry Rebalance

Helldivers 2 is a cooperative multiplayer third-person shooter developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Released on February 8, 2024, for Windows PC and PlayStation 5, the game later launched on Xbox Series X/S on August 26, 2025. Update 6.3.0, Machinery of Oppression, introduces Galactic Campaigns, the Control Center terminal, a new biome, extensive balancing changes, and a wide range of gameplay improvements and fixes.
