Amazon Accidentally Leaked Jason Statham’s Mutiny Online

Amazon appears to have accidentally made Jason Statham’s upcoming action thriller Mutiny available to watch online before its theatrical release, with the film reportedly accessible on Amazon Prime despite not arriving in cinemas until August 21.

The film was briefly available to stream, although Amazon has since removed it from the platform. However, copies of the movie have reportedly appeared online after the accidental release, meaning the film is now circulating ahead of its scheduled theatrical debut.

The apparent Amazon error comes just days before the film’s planned wide release in the United States. Mutiny is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on August 21, 2026.

Mutiny is directed by Jean-François Richet and stars Jason Statham as Cole Reed, a former Special Forces soldier working in private security. After witnessing the murder of his billionaire employer, Cole is framed for the crime and forced to flee.

The story eventually sees Cole infiltrate a cargo ship as he attempts to clear his name, where he becomes caught up in an international conspiracy while fighting to survive against the ship’s crew.

The R-rated action thriller runs for approximately 95 minutes and marks another collaboration between Statham and Richet following their work on the 2023 film Plane.
