FromSoftware, Inc., a subsidiary of Kadokawa Corporation, is a Japanese video game development firm formed in November 1986. The Armored Core and Souls series, as well as the connected titles Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Elden Ring, are the company’s most well-known works. It wasn’t until 1994 that they launched their first video game, King’s Field, as a PlayStation launch title. Although a 1995 sequel carrying the same name and known in Japan as King’s Field II was subsequently published in North America, the game was never distributed in the region.
