The LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Mayhem Collection DLC will launch on September 18 for Deluxe Edition owners across all platforms, alongside a new Absolute difficulty level arriving as a free update for every player.
The Mayhem Collection expands the game with Joker and Harley Quinn as playable characters, with the pair featuring in a new story mission centred around their escape from Arkham Asylum. The DLC also introduces Mayhem Mode, allowing players to bring the duo’s particular brand of chaos to the streets of Gotham.
The additional content includes the Sinister Pack, which adds DC Super-Villain themed outfits, Batcave items and a new vehicle. The Mayhem Collection will be included with the Deluxe Edition, while players who own the Standard Edition can access the content through the available Deluxe Edition upgrade.
Alongside the DLC, all LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight players will receive the new Absolute difficulty level at no additional cost. It is designed to provide a greater challenge than the existing Caped Crusader and Dark Knight difficulty options.
Absolute difficulty will require players to demonstrate greater skill, awareness and precision during combat. It will be introduced on September 18, coinciding with the release of the Mayhem Collection.
The Deluxe Edition also includes the Legacy Collection DLC, which is already available as part of the game’s launch content. This collection features additional suits, vehicles and Batcave items inspired by the Batman: Arkham videogame series and Batman Beyond television series, alongside a party music themed pack.
Mayhem Collection content:
- Joker and Harley Quinn: Playable characters
- New story mission: Joker and Harley Quinn escape Arkham Asylum
- Mayhem Mode: New gameplay experience set across Gotham City
- Sinister Pack: DC Super-Villain outfits, Batcave items and a vehicle
The Mayhem Collection launches September 18 for Deluxe Edition owners on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. Standard Edition players can also upgrade to the Deluxe Edition to gain access to both the Mayhem Collection and Legacy Collection.
The Absolute difficulty update will be available to all owners of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight from September 18, regardless of edition.
