Among the listed missions for the fresh recruit is providing support to the Little Nightmares Production team by reviewing the game on multiple platforms, make comparative playthroughs, liaise with QA, etc. We’re assuming the game in review here would be the third entry in the Little Nightmares series.

Little Nightmares, a horror-themed puzzle-platform adventure game, was created by Tarsier Studios and released for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Subsequently, a version for Nintendo Switch was launched in May 2018, followed by a Google Stadia release in June 2020. The mobile version, which will be published by Playdigious, is set for release in winter 2023. The game is set in a mystical world and chronicles the story of a little girl named Six, who is hungry and must flee from the Maw, a metallic vessel inhabited by grotesque and deformed creatures. Little Nightmares II, a prequel to the game, was released in February 2021.

The game is set in a 2.5D universe, and players navigate it by utilizing a range of platformer features, with occasional roadblocks in the form of puzzles that must be solved to progress. Due to the absence of any combat abilities, the player is frequently powerless in their surroundings and must instead depend on stealth and the environment to avoid confrontations with the numerous foes. However, on certain occasions, the player is given tools that even the odds slightly and enable them to push back against their adversaries.
