Bandai Namco has released The Backstage, the first downloadable content expansion for Little Nightmares III, bringing a new chapter to the horror adventure across all major platforms.
Available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, the expansion takes players behind the scenes of The Carnevale, introducing a new area filled with dangers and mysteries. Developed by Supermassive Games, the DLC continues the journey through the unsettling world of Little Nightmares III with new characters, challenges, and enemies.
In The Backstage, players follow Low as he encounters Dime, a child equipped with a torch-shaped hat. The light source serves as an important tool for navigating the dark environments hidden beyond The Carnevale’s curtains. Together, Low and Dime must overcome a variety of new threats while using their light to uncover a path forward.
The story centers on a rescue mission involving Alone, who has fallen into the grasp of a new Resident known as The Puppeteer. Players will need to work through the expansion’s dangers and puzzles as they attempt to save their companion from the mysterious antagonist.
The Backstage is available as a standalone purchase and is also included with the Secrets of the Spiral Expansion Pass. The pass is part of the game’s Deluxe Edition and will grant access to additional content planned for release later this year.
With The Backstage now available, Little Nightmares III players can continue exploring the disturbing world of the Spiral while uncovering what awaits beyond The Carnevale’s hidden curtain.
