Marvel Rivals Gameplay Features Leaked

According to Ross, a key feature of Marvel Rivals is destructible environments. Additionally, he revealed that the game will strictly be played from the third-person perspective. It is entirely PvP focused, and there is no PvE mode. Furthermore, he said that the game is as much of a shooter as Overwatch, in the sense that some characters don’t have ranged options and are purely melee-based. For example, Magik uses her sword and Hulk fights with his fist. The only characters who use guns are ones who use them in the comics, such as Punisher, Star-Lord, and Rocket.

Regarding character-specific plays styles, Ross mentioned that Hulk functions similarly to D.Va from Overwatch. When his health is low, he transforms into Bruce Banner and recharges himself.
