Update 1.001.002 for Sony Interactive Entertainment and Insomniac Games’ upcoming web-swinging adventure, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, is now available, and if you’re looking for the download size and patch notes, read ahead.
The update includes several bug fixes and improves the game’s overall performance. If you already have your digital copy of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 pre-loaded, boot up your PS5 console to begin downloading update 1.001.002. If the download doesn’t begin automatically, move to the game’s icon in the system menu and press the Options button on the DualSense controller to bring up the Options menu. From there, select the “Check for Update” option. The update should now begin downloading.

Peter Parker and Miles Morales face personal challenges while dealing with an array of villains, including a private militia led by Kraven the Hunter, the Lizard, and the Venom symbiote. The symbiote bonds with Parker, negatively impacting him and endangering his personal relationships.
