Mojang Studios has released Minecraft Java Edition 26.2, also known as Chaos Cubed, introducing a major content update centered around the new Sulfur Caves biome and the highly interactive Sulfur Cube mob. Players can explore underground sulfur-rich environments, experiment with new block sets, and discover unique gameplay mechanics built around the Sulfur Cube’s ability to absorb blocks and change its behavior.
The update also adds a Friends List system, experimental Vulkan rendering support, new music tracks, additional language support, and a variety of new building materials. Together, these additions expand both social features and gameplay possibilities for builders, explorers, and technical players alike.
