Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack 1 DLC Roster Leak Confirms Previous Rumors

Mortal Kombat 1 is being termed a reboot, even though it is a successor. It will launch with a Kombat Pack 1, the roster for which has leaked online thanks to Amazon Italy.

The leaked roster has confirmed some of the characters that were previously rumored, including Peacemaker and Homelander. These characters won’t be in the base game but will be available to users who purchase Kombat Pack 1.

According to the leaked description of Kombat Pack 1, the following characters will be included:

  • Quan Chi
  • Omni Man
  • Ermac
  • Peacemaker
  • Takeda
  • Homelander

Omni Man, from the hit TV series Invincible, has powers equal to or even greater than Superman’s. We won’t spoil the show, but this is a significant detail. Peacemaker, another guest character from the hit TV series of the same name that debuted on HBO Max, is portrayed by John Cena. Fans will finally have a chance to use him in a Mortal Kombat game.

The last guest character, Homelander, is perhaps the most exciting. It will be interesting to see how the developers of Mortal Kombat 1 utilize the powers of Homelander and Omni Man, which share a lot of similarities. Homelander, in particular, should offer some brutal ways to dismantle his foes.

These are not the only characters that were leaked through Amazon Italy. The new Mortal Kombat also introduces a feature called Kameo Fighters, and five of them will be a part of Kombat Pack 1. They are confirmed to be as follows:

  • Tremor
  • Johnny Cage
  • Khameleon
  • Mavado
  • Ferra

This means these characters won’t form the base roster of the game. Additionally, this includes a skin of Jean Claude Van Damme for Johnny Cage.

Mortal Kombat 1 is confirmed to launch on September 19, 2023, for PS5, Xbox Series S|X, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
