The Nintendo Switch Online October 2026 update adds three classic Game Boy games to the Game Boy Nintendo Classics library. Subscribers can play Avenging Spirit, Mole Mania, and Revenge of the Gator through the service’s collection of retro titles.
Avenging Spirit is an action platformer built around the ability to possess and control other characters. The game follows a protagonist who returns as a ghost after being killed by a criminal syndicate that kidnaps his girlfriend. Players must work through six stages to rescue her.
Mole Mania is a puzzle adventure starring Muddy Mole, who must defeat the farmer Jinbe and reunite with his family. Players solve puzzles by pushing, pulling, and throwing black balls, trapping enemies, and digging underground tunnels. The game also features a two-player versus mode in which players compete as Muddy or Jinbe.
The third addition, Revenge of the Gator, is a pinball game in which players hit a ball with flippers to score points by targeting specific areas and navigating lanes. It features four main stages and three bonus stages, each with its own objectives. Players can compete for a place among the five highest scores in single-player mode or play with a friend in two-player and match modes.
All three games are available through the standard Nintendo Switch Online subscription, which includes access to the Game Boy Nintendo Classics library. Subscribers do not need the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack tier to play these titles.
