Moon Studios has delayed the No Rest for the Wicked 1.0 launch from October 2026 to March 2027, giving the team additional time to improve the game’s performance, class system and overall polish.
The studio announced the delay in a message to players, acknowledging the excitement surrounding the previously planned October launch. Moon Studios said it is a small team and does not want to compromise on the standard it has set for the full release.
“We’re close, but close isn’t good enough for our full 1.0 launch,” the Moon Studios team said. The additional development time will be used to improve performance, tighten the class system and polish the game before its 1.0 release.
The delay will also allow Moon Studios to conduct more closed and open beta tests in the coming months. An open beta is planned for December, with further details expected through the game’s official social channels.
Steam Players To Receive Founders Pack Rewards
Moon Studios has also confirmed that everyone on Steam who purchased No Rest for the Wicked before January 1, 2027 will receive Founders Pack rewards as thanks for supporting the game during Early Access.
PlayStation pre-orders will open in January 2027, giving PlayStation players an opportunity to earn the Founder’s rewards when pre-orders become available. The studio also plans to schedule another Wicked Inside presentation for players soon.
No Rest for the Wicked originally entered Early Access on PC via Steam on April 18, 2024. The action RPG is being developed for PC and PlayStation 5, while Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2 versions are planned for a later date.
