One Piece: Grand Gourmet Launches on Switch 2 and PC

by Greg Martin

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has released ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet, a restaurant management game developed by Kairosoft. The game is available now on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC via Steam, iOS through the App Store, and Android through Google Play.

Players take charge of Baratie Number Two, a restaurant ship run alongside Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew. The story begins when an impostor restaurant claiming to be the famous Baratie appears, leaving players to restore the establishment’s reputation while building their own business.

The gameplay centres on gathering ingredients, creating recipes, serving customers, and expanding the restaurant. Players can work with Sanji to prepare dishes inspired by the series and serve more than 400 characters from across the ONE PIECE universe.

Restaurant customisation is also part of the game. Players can decorate their establishment with furniture and other items inspired by locations such as the Alabasta Kingdom, the Land of Wano, and Elbaph. Progress also unlocks new recipes and special character interactions, including scenes featuring familiar faces from the series.

To mark the launch, Bandai Namco shared a message from ONE PIECE creator Eiichiro Oda. He joked that he had asked to play the game after hearing it was ready, but was told he could not because it was the kind of game he might become too absorbed in.
