ATLUS has officially launched Persona 3 Reload for the Nintendo Switch 2, marking the debut of the acclaimed role-playing title on the hybrid console. The release, accompanied by a new launch trailer, introduces both returning fans and newcomers to a modern reimagining of the 2006 classic.
Available now on the Nintendo eShop, a free demo allows players to experience the opening months of the game. In this introductory segment, players assume the role of a transfer student navigating a mysterious new life marked by supernatural events. Progress made in the demo can be transferred to the full version, allowing a seamless continuation of gameplay upon purchase.
Persona 3 Reload reinterprets the original Persona 3 with updated visuals, an improved combat system, and re-recorded voice performances in English. The title received the Award for Excellence at the 2024 Japan Game Awards and achieved over one million units sold within its first week following its initial release on other platforms earlier in the year.
To coincide with the Switch 2 launch, ATLUS has released a free patch across all supported platforms, adding eight new background music tracks from the original Persona 3. The new tracks, performed by vocalist Yumi Kawamura, expand the available selection for exploration within Tartarus, the game’s primary dungeon area.
Persona 3 Reload is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, priced at $59.99 for the Standard Edition. Players can also choose from the Digital Deluxe Edition ($69.99), which includes a digital artbook and soundtrack, or the Digital Premium Edition ($89.99), which additionally offers the Persona 3 Reload DLC Pack.
Additional downloadable content includes the Episode Aigis – The Answer Pack ($34.99), which features an epilogue chapter, crossover music from Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal, and new costume sets. The Premium DLC Pack ($36.99) and the standard DLC Pack ($26.99) offer a range of cosmetic and music-themed add-ons, all available separately.
The game supports full voiceover in both English and Japanese, with localized text in multiple languages, including French, German, Spanish, Korean, and Chinese.
Persona 3 Reload is also available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, and Steam.
