Persona 4 Revival Gets New Story Trailer At Xbox Gamescom

Persona 4 Revival has received a new story trailer during the Xbox at gamescom Broadcast 2026, offering a closer look at the mysterious events unfolding in the rural Japanese town of Inaba. SEGA and ATLUS also shared a trailer breakdown featuring P-STUDIO Director Kazuhisa Wada.

The new Persona 4 Revival story trailer introduces a teenager who moves to Inaba, where a series of strange incidents soon begin to unfold. An ominous urban legend known as the Midnight Channel also starts circulating, with rumours describing a portal leading to a mysterious and dangerous world.

Following the broadcast, Xbox aired an exclusive breakdown of the trailer with Wada. The P-STUDIO Director discussed the newly revealed material and explained how the development team is approaching the game with both newcomers and returning Persona 4 players in mind.

Persona 4 Revival is a supernatural turn-based RPG that revisits the story set in Inaba. The latest trailer provides another glimpse at the game’s central mystery while establishing the strange events that will draw the protagonist into its unfolding story.

Persona 4 Revival is scheduled to launch on February 18, 2027, for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, PlayStation 5 and Steam. The game will also be available on day one through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, while Xbox Play Anywhere support will allow the game to be played across supported Xbox platforms.
