Phantom Blade Zero has reached a peak of 723,876 concurrent players on Steam, according to SteamDB, putting the action RPG among the platform’s biggest launches for single-player-focused games. Developed by S-Game and directed by Soulframe Liang, the game launched on October 29, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The game’s peak concurrent player count places it sixth among single-player or primarily single-player action RPGs on Steam. It sits behind Black Myth: Wukong, which holds the record at 2,415,714 players, followed by Cyberpunk 2077 at 1,054,388, Elden Ring at 953,426, Hogwarts Legacy at 879,308, and Baldur’s Gate 3 at approximately 875,343.
Phantom Blade Zero has also surpassed the peak player counts of several established RPGs. Fallout 4 reached approximately 472,962 concurrent players, while Monster Hunter: World peaked at 334,684, Starfield at 330,723, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt at 103,329.
The wuxia-inspired action RPG features fast-paced martial arts combat developed with input from action star Donnie Yen, who contributed to the game’s motion capture. Phantom Blade Zero has also received critical acclaim following its release.
Black Myth: Wukong remains the record holder for the highest concurrent player count achieved by a single-player-focused game on Steam.
