The Wolf Among Us Remastered is now available digitally for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox One, with a launch price of $24.99. Developed by Telltale in partnership with PM Studios and co-developed with Trick Studios, the updated edition includes visual improvements, five playable deleted scenes, and a new Noir Mode. Choices made during the game can also carry over into The Wolf Among Us 2.
The remaster is based on DC’s Fables comic book series and follows Bigby Wolf, the sheriff of Fabletown, as he investigates a murder involving the community’s fairy-tale characters. The story takes place in 1980s New York, where Bigby must uncover a wider mystery while keeping the hidden community from being exposed to the outside world.
One of the main additions is the ability to transfer key decisions into the upcoming sequel. Players who sign in with a Telltale Account while playing The Wolf Among Us Remastered can carry their choices into The Wolf Among Us 2. Those who start the sequel without a previous playthrough will also be able to establish their past decisions at the beginning.
The remaster features updated environments, improved character details, revised lighting and animations, and remastered audio. Players can also access five playable deleted scenes restored from the original episodes. Noir Mode offers an optional black-and-white presentation, while an additional gallery contains more than 100 pieces of artwork. The release also includes over an hour of developer interviews.
All five original episodes are included, covering the complete first season of Bigby’s story. The game is available through Steam, including Steam Deck support, the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox One. Xbox Series X|S owners can play the Xbox One version through backward compatibility. Nintendo Switch versions are planned for a later date.
A limited-time 20% launch discount runs from October 29 to November 12, 2026. Eligible digital owners of the original game can receive discounts of up to 50% on qualifying purchases made through the same platform and account. On PlayStation, the 20% launch discount is exclusive to PlayStation Plus members. The offers cannot be combined.
Physical editions are planned for multiple platforms in early 2027, with PM Studios targeting a Q1 2027 release. The digital edition is priced at $24.99.
