FromSoftware has delayed The Duskbloods from its planned 2026 launch to 2027, pushing back the release of its Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive multiplayer action game. The studio confirmed the delay through the game’s official X account, but hasn’t provided a specific release date.
In its announcement, FromSoftware said development had reached the “final adjustment stage”. The studio apologised to players waiting for the game and thanked them for their patience and continued support. It did not explain which aspects of development require more time or provide a more precise launch window beyond 2027.
The delay changes the release schedule for a game first revealed during the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct in April 2025. Directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, The Duskbloods is an online PvPvE multiplayer action game developed exclusively for Nintendo’s latest console.
FromSoftware and its parent company, Kadokawa, had previously reaffirmed the game’s 2026 release window following a closed network playtest. The newly announced delay marks a change from that earlier schedule.
