Predator Hunting Grounds Comes With a Substantial Day One Update
Predator Hunting Grounds will launch on April 24. The game is multiplayer focused and has PvP encounters. It also has a substantial day one update.
Predator Hunting Grounds is being developed by IllFonic who have previously worked on Friday the 13th The Game. Sony Interactive Entertainment is the main publisher who is also publishing it on the Epic Games Store.
The day one update for Predator Hunting Grounds is well over 10 GB so if you are getting a physical copy, that means you have to update it before you can start playing the game. This applies to every multiplayer game but in this case, the day one update size is rather large.
So what exactly is fixed in this update? There are no Predator Hunting Grounds update 1.04 patch notes to reveal the changes aside from the version number, which reveals that there could be more updates and the changelog that simply mentions “Various Bug Fixes” on PS4.
Predator Hunting Grounds is available to pre-order for $39.99 on the PlayStation Store. Here is a description of the game taken from the store page. If you want to find out more, check the ESRB rating that details the violence and other gameplay details.
Hunt or be hunted in this asymmetrical multiplayer* shooter that pits man against Predator. As part of a Fireteam, complete missions before the Predator finds you. Or be the Predator and hunt your prey.
• Be the Predator – hunt down the opposing Fireteam, using deadly alien weaponry to stalk your prey.
• Get to the chopper – complete challenging missions as part of a four-person Fireteam to escape.
• Wield human and alien weaponry – fight with a state-of-the-art arsenal as the Fireteam, and deadly tech like the shoulder-mounted Plasma Caster, Combistick and more as the Predator.
If you have missed out on the multiplayer beta, it was the only way to test the game ahead of its launch.
