PS Plus Essential April 2023 Lineup Revealed, Includes Sackboy: A Big Adventure & More
The PS Plus Essential lineup for the month of April, 2023, has been revealed by Sony, and among the prominent additions to its catalog is SIE and Sumo Digital’s Sackboy: A Big Adventure.
The latest additions to PS Plus Essential will be available to subscribers starting from Tuesday, April 4, 2023 up until Monday May 1, 2023. PlayStation Plus members have until Monday, April 3 to add the March, 2023 lineup i.e. Battlefield 2042, Minecraft Dungeons, and Code Vein, to their game library.

The games announced for PS Plus Essential subscribers in the month of April, 2023 are as follows:
- Meet Your Maker (PS4/PS5)
- Sackboy: A Big Adventure (PS4/PS5)
- Tails of Iron (PS4/PS5)
PS4 and PS5 owners who are currently subscribed to PS Plus Essential, PS Plus Extra, or PS Plus Premium will be able to download and add these games to their digital library free of cost.
Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a 2020 platform game developed by Sumo Digital and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It is a LittleBigPlanet spinoff that features 3D platforming as opposed to the 2.5D in earlier games and is based on Sackboy. The game was released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in November, 2020, and for PC in October, 2022.
The game offers a variety of perspectives and 3D movement in contrast to earlier LittleBigPlanet games’ 2.5D platforming. Sackboy is controlled by players on world maps that provide access to a tonne of platforming levels and bonus material. Sackboy can advance by unlocking new stages as he completes each one. In order to make progress, a large number of Dreamer Orbs must be gathered from each of the game’s levels. Players can now slap at will, roll around, nosedive, pick up objects, and flutter jump, to name a few of Sackboy’s many new moves. Players can cover more ground by chaining moves together to create combos.
