PS Plus Essentials June 2022 Lineup Leaked, God of War and More Included

Sony will officially announce the PS Plus essentials games lineup for the month of June 2022. It has been allegedly leaked today.

The official announcement for PS Plus games usually happens on the last Tuesday of every month, but here it has been reportedly leaked almost 24 hours earlier. This is according to AreaJugones who have previously leaked the PS Plus lineup for May 2021.

Here are the rumored games for all PS Plus Essentials subscribers in June 2022.

  • God of War (PS4)
  • Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl (PS4/PS5)
  • Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker (PS4)

For all the PS Plus subscribers, there is a big shift happening next month with the introduction of three new tiers to the service. The regular PS Plus will be called PS Plus Essentials while the benefits and pricing will remain the same. PS Plus Extra tier will bring PS Now and PS Plus benefits in one bundle. It will be available for $100 per year.

Lastly, we have the PS Plus Premium tier which brings all the benefits from the previous subscription and adds more than 400 classic games including from PS1, PS2, PSP, and PS3. All of these games aside from the PS3 one will be available to emulate locally and they can also be purchased from the PlayStation Store.

For the PS3 games in the subscription, they can be streamed live through the Cloud streaming service which was previously a perk that was limited to the PS Now subscription.

As for the upcoming games lineup, God of War was previously a part of the PS Plus benefits for the PS5 program and it could be redeemed if the user owned a PS5 along with PS Plus subscription. The other two games haven’t been released on the service.

Since this is a rumor, for now, take it as such. The official announcement is a lot closer now so there is not much to wait.
