Recently, some of the modders were able to successfully use an exploit on the older PS5 consoles with a dated firmware that allowed them to run patched versions of the PS4 games. Sony hasn’t shared the details on when the next major PS5 system software update will be released, but it usually happens at the end of the beta testing stage. Since the PS5 system software beta is still ongoing, it will take some time to get this firmware ready for a public launch.
