Raw Fury used the Future Games Showcase to unveil two new projects, introducing the horror simulation game My Cannibal Family and the pinball-inspired roguelite shooter Appulse.
Developed by UK studio Wolf & Wood, My Cannibal Family is scheduled to launch in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Ahead of release, players can get an early look at the game through a closed Steam playtest running until June 16.
The game places players in charge of a bizarre family of mutants operating a horror-themed amusement park with a sinister purpose. Rather than simply entertaining visitors, the goal is to construct attractions and elaborate traps designed to lure unsuspecting guests to their demise. Resources gathered from victims can then be used to expand the park, unlock new equipment, and support the ever-growing mutant family.
My Cannibal Family can be played solo or cooperatively with up to four players online. A local split-screen option for two players is also included. Players will have access to a modular building system that allows them to create customized parks filled with attractions, decorations, and deadly contraptions. According to Raw Fury, the game will feature six unlockable park locations and more than 20 attractions.
Gameplay revolves around several interconnected systems. Players must build and expand their park, attract visitors, eliminate them using traps and weapons, and then harvest resources from their victims. Managing the mutant family is also a key component, with different family members assigned to tasks ranging from resource collection to supporting allies. The game also includes a story campaign focused on themes of family, betrayal, and revenge, as players eventually confront members of the criminal organization responsible for abandoning them.
Outside the park itself, players can explore surrounding areas in search of resources, hidden secrets, and optional side missions. Radio transmissions and environmental clues will help uncover additional objectives and rewards.
Alongside the horror simulator reveal, Raw Fury also announced Appulse, a new roguelite shooter from French developer Le Rado. The game is currently in development for PC via Steam, with a release date yet to be announced.
Appulse combines elements of pinball and action shooters, challenging players to navigate futuristic battlefields using both pinball flippers and weapon recoil. Every shot affects movement, requiring players to carefully manage momentum and positioning while battling robotic enemies.
As players progress, they can unlock new perks, weapons, and abilities through a card-based upgrade system. Additional spacecraft can also be captured and added to the player’s fleet, providing unique bonuses such as drones, automated turrets, and repair capabilities.
The game takes place across multiple spaceship-themed tables, each featuring its own objectives, enemies, and challenges. Raw Fury describes the project as being inspired by classic space-themed pinball games while blending those influences with roguelite progression and arcade-style combat.
My Cannibal Family is slated to arrive in 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, while Appulse is currently in development for PC via Steam. Players can wishlist Appulse now and participate in the ongoing My Cannibal Family Steam playtest before it concludes later this month.
