Golem took to the gaming enthusiast forum Reset Era to share these details. He stated that the Separate Ways DLC is planned for release later on, while the Mercenaries update is expected to be available sooner. He added that Separate Ways will be longer and more fleshed out than the original mini-game.

According to him, Resident Evil Village did not have any DLC planned prior to its release, and that the decision to add the Winters’ Expansion was decided post-launch. In the case of the Resident Evil 4 Remake, content such as Separate Ways and the free Mercenaries update is already planned in advance as part of the development cycle. He also reminded that the game is also set to receive some PS5 exclusive content in the form of a PSVR2 mode.

Previously, the official site for Resident Evil in Asia had revealed the contents of the Deluxe Edition of Resident Evil 4 Remake, giving a first look at the costumes that it offers. The Deluxe Edition features two Leon and Ashley costumes, namely Casual and Romantic.

Leon has two additional costumes that come with visual filters, titled Hero and Villain. All the aforementioned costumes can be seen in the screenshot above, along with the Deluxe Edition weapons called Sentinel Nine and Skull Shaker. Additionally, the Deluxe Edition of Resident Evil 4 Remake features an optional soundtrack swap with the OST of the original game as well as a treasure map expansion.
