Resident Evil Requiem writer Haris Orkin appears to have accidentally revealed that the game’s upcoming DLC will explore Spencer’s story arc in greater detail.
Speaking during an interview on YouTube, Orkin discussed the character’s role in Requiem before revealing that the planned DLC will provide additional details about his story.
“We have an arc for Spencer in Requiem. They kind of you know understand that more and in the DLC for Requiem, you will understand it even further. So yeah! I probably shouldn’t say that, but yeah,” Orkin said.
The comment suggests that Spencer’s storyline in Resident Evil Requiem is intended to continue or receive further context through the upcoming expansion. Orkin appeared to realise that he had revealed information that wasn’t meant to be public when discussing the DLC.
There have been rumors suggesting that the upcoming Resident Evil: Requiem DLC may include the Spencer Mansion. This latest hint, even if it was unintentional, could indicate that the rumor may indeed be true.
Resident Evil Requiem features a story involving FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft and series veteran Leon S. Kennedy. The game continues to expand the wider Resident Evil storyline while introducing new developments surrounding its characters and outbreak. The game is out now for PS5, Xbox Series S|X, Switch 2, and PC.
