[Rumor] Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Is Out This Year With MW2 Remastered Campaign
Call of Duty 2019 will be from Infinity Ward. They are teasing the game reveal since the start of this year. Now a further rumor suggests that this is going to be another Black Ops 4.
There are multiple sources for this rumor going all the way back to last year. It was first reported by Call of Duty fan website Charlie Intel that Modern Warfare 4 is coming out in 2019 after Black Ops 4. It will follow the same gameplay model as its predecessor except for this time the campaign will be a remastered version of Modern Warfare 2’s story. It will offer the same visual upgrades as the first Modern Warfare which was bundled with Infinite Warfare.
There are plans to add Modern Warfare 3 campaign later down the line. One key story mission that was controversial in the original release will be cut down for this remaster, you can guess it for yourself.
Regarding the multiplayer, fan-favorite maps will make their return while the game will also offer a Battle Royale mode. Iconic characters from the previous Call of Duty games will be back in Modern Warfare 4’s battle royale mode, including the ones from Call of Duty: Ghosts. Class building feature is added with Pick Ten in multiplayer.
Modern Warfare 4 battle royale map is similar in size to the Blackout featured in Black Ops 4 with one major difference that almost 45 percent of it is covered in snow. This adds a new method of transportation with the snowmobiles. The new additions for the multiplayer are specialists.
Mr. Craig Fairbrass will lend his voice as the main announcer for the Battle Royale mode along with a couple of other characters. Modern Warfare 4 is also supposedly the final entry in the series.
There is no reason to believe it all since this is just rumor, but most of it feels quite safe and sound for Activision who are slowly going to ditch their single player campaigns from Call of Duty and instead focusing on the multiplayer.
