Scorn will run at 4K and 60 FPS on Xbox Series S|X. It has received some terrifying new screenshots seen running at the 4K resolution.
Ebb Software, the developers for Scorn, had recently shared a gameplay trailer that was running on Xbox Series X. After the trailer, it was confirmed that the game will run at 4K and 60 FPS on Microsoft’s next-generation console. This can also be seen with an update to the official website.
In a press release, the developers have shared a set of 4K screenshots from the game including its logo. This was shared along with the new gameplay trailer.
Scorn is being marketed as an “atmospheric first-person horror adventure” by the developers. It does look the part, but how well it is designed and the fun factor of the gameplay remains to be seen until the game is officially out.
Here is a short description of the game that is taken from the Microsoft Store’s listing for Scorn.
Scorn is set in a nightmarish universe of odd forms and somber tapestry. It is designed around the idea of “being thrown into the world”. Isolated and lost inside this dream-like world, you will explore different interconnected regions in a non-linear fashion. Every location contains its own theme, puzzles and characters that are integral in creating a cohesive world.
The game is currently confirmed for the Xbox Series S|X and PC.
