Today, Nintendo Europe has sent a press release that highlights weekly new additions and announcements for the Nintendo eShop, and among them is Shin Megami Tensei III HD Remaster.

The pre-order date has been set for March 19 at 22:00 CET while the end date for the pre-order is 24 May at 23:59 LT. This could suggest that the game is launching on May 25. Since it was rated for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch, we can expect to see the game announcement on both platforms.

Shin Megami Tensei III HD Remaster brings the original PS2 classic to modern platforms. It is already available in Japan and a Western localization was also confirmed for early this year by Atlus. Judging from the new leak, this game could release on May 25, 2021, for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

Atlus is also working on Shin Megami Tensei V for the Nintendo Switch which currently doesn’t have a release date for it. This will be available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch and follows the 3DS exclusive Shin Megami Tensei IV and its successor.

Shin Megami Tensei 3 is officially slated for a release in Spring 2021. You can have a look at the announcement trailer here. It is being labeled as a full high-definition remake of the original game that was available exclusively on the PlayStation 2. This will be the first time a Shin Megami Tensei game makes its way to the PlayStation consoles after the series switched to the Nintendo handheld beginning with the Nintendo DS and followed by the 3DS.
