Silent Hill creator Keiichiro Toyama who has also worked on Gravity Rush has discussed his new horror game that he is currently working on at Bokeh Game Studio.

Bokeh Game Studio was founded by Keiichiro Toyama, who is also the creative director there working on a brand new horror game. In a video that was uploaded by the developer today, the creative director teased his upcoming project and shared some of the concepts that they are developing for it.

While Keiichiro Toyama has developed some of the cult-classic Horror games including Silent Hill and Siren, he has also worked on Gravity Rush for Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan. He left the studio last year to work on his own game and founded Bokeh Game Studio.

In the video, we learn more about the next project that is being developed by Bokeh Game Studio. From what we can see, the game is still in a rather early phase of development so there is a lot of work that has to be done.

“Regarding our first game, I have multiple directions for my works,” Toyama said in the video. “The one I took is quite dark, far from my more recent titles. It’s like I’m coming back to my roots, for example towards horror. My ideas were starting to go that direction. This is where I’m taking my first title. However, rather than something deeply rooted into horror, I want to keep an entertainment note. While keeping elements from horror, I want the player to feel exhilarated when playing the game.”

You can watch the video to get the full interview that goes further in-depth and discusses the various concepts that will be featured in the new project. There have been a couple of rumors that there is a brand new Silent Hill in development at Konami, but so far, it looks like Keiichiro Toyama is not working on the game but rather a new IP at his own studio.
