Sony and Square Enix Join Forces to Elevate Gaming with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
Sony Electronics Inc. has announced that it will be continuing its successful partnership with SQUARE ENIX to release the highly anticipated FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH. This game is set to raise the bar for immersive gaming experiences.
FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH is the second installment in the FINAL FANTASY VII remake project. It is scheduled to be released on February 29th, 2024, and is a standalone adventure that takes you beyond the dystopian confines of Midgar. The game follows the journey of Cloud Strife and his allies, including Tifa, Barret, Aerith, and Red XIII, as they pursue the enigmatic Sephiroth. The gameplay is enhanced with additional characters like Yuffie and Cait Sith, adding a blend of humor, intrigue, and action.
Sony has designated its BRAVIA XR TVs as the official gaming TV for FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH, to deliver an unparalleled gaming experience. These TVs, along with the PlayStation 5, are equipped with the innovative Cognitive Processor XR, providing gamers with a visually and acoustically immersive experience. Features such as Auto HDR Tone Mapping, Auto Genre Picture Mode, and XR Clear Image enhance the game’s visual fidelity and audio quality.
The new Game Menu on BRAVIA XR TVs allows players to customize their gaming experience. It includes options such as VRR and Motion Blur Reduction, Black Equalizer, and Crosshairs adjustment. Furthermore, HDMI 2.1 support ensures high-performance gaming with features like 4K/120, VRR, and ALLM.
To complement the gaming experience, Sony introduces its INZONE Buds and INZONE M9 gaming monitors. The INZONE Buds offer an immersive audio experience with 360 Spatial Sound, active noise cancellation, and up to 12 hours of battery life. The INZONE M9 monitors, with Full Array Local Dimming, 4K resolution, and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, provide gamers with exceptional visual clarity and fluid gameplay.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be available exclusively for the PS5.
