Nintendo has released Splatoon Raiders update 1.1.1 for Nintendo Switch 2, focusing on gameplay improvements, bug fixes, and stability enhancements. The update addresses several issues affecting combat mechanics, movement, UI behaviour, and minigames.
Players can also expect fixes for a rare crash, enemy behaviour, and several other issues designed to improve the overall gameplay experience.

Gameplay
- Tank limiters can now be released without holding the A Button.
- Fixed an issue where the Showstopper Gauge and other UI elements did not hide correctly after a period of inactivity in the Hideout Ship or dungeons.
- Fixed an issue where the Emergency Damage Up effect was not applied to explosion damage added by the Splatchet’s Explosive Steps.
- Fixed an issue where players could occasionally become unable to move after using a Splatchet immediately following a Squid Roll from a wall.
- Fixed an issue in Soyu Cliffs where a Fish Stick could occasionally move into the terrain and become impossible to defeat.
- Fixed an issue in the HOPPING arcade game where the Exploration Bot could occasionally stop attacking Salmonids.
Stability
- Fixed a crash that could occur if the Nintendo Switch 2 touchscreen was tapped on the swirling fog screen after launching the game.
Other Improvements
- Made several additional adjustments to improve the overall gameplay experience.
Splatoon Raiders is an action role-playing and third-person shooter developed and published by Nintendo. Released on July 23, 2026, the game is available exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2. Version 1.1.1 was released on August 6, 2026.
