Star Wars Galactic Racer Launches Today on PS5 and PC

by Greg Martin

Star Wars: Galactic Racer is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Amazon Luna, bringing Fuse Games’ runs-based racing adventure to players. The game launched on October 6 and supports up to 12 players.

Set in the lawless Outer Rim, Galactic Racer follows an underground racing circuit known as the Galactic League. Racing enthusiast Darius Pax recruits Shade, a lone racer with a grudge against reigning champion Kestar Bool, to challenge Bool and attempt to end his control over the league.

The game uses a runs-based campaign in which players choose different events as they progress through the Galactic League, with new challenges and unlocks available along the way. Players can compete across multiple types of repulsorcraft, including landspeeders, speeder bikes, skim speeders and podracers.

Galactic Racer also allows players to customise their vehicles, with different craft classes featuring their own physics and playstyles. Alongside its story-driven campaign, the game includes PvP modes where players can compete in strategic races against other players.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer is available in Standard and Deluxe editions, both physically and digitally. The Standard Edition is priced at $59.99, £49.99 and €59.99, while the Deluxe Edition costs $79.99, £64.99 and €79.99.
