State Of Play September 2026 Announced For September 3

Sony has announced that State of Play September 2026 will take place on September 3, with a second State of Play Japan broadcast airing immediately afterwards. The 2 presentations will feature updates from PlayStation Studios and third-party developers, along with deeper looks at upcoming games from Japan and Asia.

The first State of Play will include announcements and updates from PlayStation Studios and its third-party partners. The presentation will conclude with an extended look at Final Fantasy VII Revelation from Square Enix, giving viewers a more substantial look at the upcoming game.

State of Play Japan will follow directly after the main presentation and will once again be hosted by Japanese voice actor Yuki Kaji. The broadcast will focus on upcoming titles from developers and publishers in Japan and other parts of Asia.

Sony says State of Play Japan will feature new gameplay footage, announcements and additional information about upcoming releases.

Both broadcasts will be streamed live on September 3, beginning at 6:00am PT, 9:00am ET, 3:00pm CEST and 10:00pm JST. The presentations will be available through YouTube and Twitch.

The main State of Play will be presented in English, with Japanese subtitles available, while State of Play Japan will be presented in Japanese with English subtitles.
