Stranger Than Heaven: Xbox Presents has reportedly become the most watched livestream ever published on Xbox’s official YouTube channel.
According to figures shared by KAMI on X, the presentation has accumulated 7.5 million views in just nine days, surpassing several major Xbox broadcasts from previous years by a significant margin.
The reported rankings place Stranger Than Heaven: Xbox Presents well ahead of Xbox E3 2017 at 2.6 million views and the Xbox Games Showcase 2025 at 2.1 million. Other streams listed include Halo 5: Live and the Xbox Series X Gameplay presentation, both of which reportedly reached around 1.3 million views.
Stranger Than Heaven is an upcoming historical action-adventure title from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and Sega. The game is currently scheduled for release in late 2026 or early 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows PC. It will also launch through Xbox Game Pass.
The project serves as a distant prequel to the Like a Dragon franchise and follows Makoto Daito, a Japanese-American outcast who eventually becomes the founder of the Tojo Clan. The story spans five decades and takes players across multiple cities and time periods in modern Japan.
Gameplay features third-person combat alongside additional mechanics tied to music recording and nightclub management systems.
