Update 1.0001.010 was rolled out for Street Fighter 6 earlier today, and it brings a brand new Fighting Pass that hints at the arrival of the Season’s first DLC character, Rashid. The Fighting Pass is titled “Rashid Arrives!”, as it offers avatar gear based on the character’s costume. In addition, the update adds a new selection of in-game music in the form of Rashid’s, Laura’s, and Necalli’s Street Fighter V themes.

Street Fighter 6 Update 1.0001.010 (July 4, 2023) Patch Notes

The detailed patch notes for update 1.0001.010 of Street Fighter 6 can be seen below.

  • The “Rashid Arrives!” Fighting Pass has started.
  • A club recruitment campaign is now underway.
  • The number of Battle Hub servers have been adjusted in order to lessen network strain.
  • A temporary fix has been implemented to address a known throw escape bug. The current fix makes it much more difficult to intentionally replicate the bug, and a solution to address the root cause is still being worked on.

This is the first ever look at Rashid’s character design for Street Fighter 6, and it looks about the same as the one found in the leaked artwork that initially revealed the game’s roster.

Street Fighter VI was announced on February 21, 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC and released on June 2, 2023. The game introduces the Drive System, which involves managing the Drive Gauge. This gauge can be used to execute five different techniques that can help you improve your attack or defense.

A Drive Impact is a strong blow that may absorb an opponent’s oncoming attack and results in a wall splat. Drive Parry may be used to deflect an opponent’s assault while also replenishing your Drive Gauge. To quickly close in on their opponent, players can cancel out of a Drive Parry or standard attack into a Drive Rush. Overdrive Arts are similar to EX Moves from previous games in that they increase the strength of your special moves. To break free from tight situations, players can use Drive Reversal as a counterattack.
