Street Fighter 6 Update 1.06 Released, Patch Notes and Details Here
Capcom has released the latest update for its critically acclaimed fighting game, Street Fighter 6. The update brings Street Fighter 6 to version 1.06 and introduces a range of new features and improvements, including the start of Phase 2 for the Master Rank leaderboard.
The update was rolled out following a scheduled maintenance period that took place from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. JST on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. During this time, all online content was inaccessible as players could not log in. The maintenance also marked the beginning of Phase 2 for the Master Rank leaderboard, effectively resetting the Master Rank for all players worldwide. This allows players to earn these points anew, adding a fresh competitive element to the game.

Final Fight Gala Fighting Pass
A new fighting pass called the “Final Fight Gala” has been introduced.
Goods Shop
Additional items have been incorporated into the Goods Shop.
Onitsuka Tiger Collaboration
As part of a collaboration with Onitsuka Tiger, various avatar items have been added. These include:
- Onitsuka LOGO TEE (two variations)
- Onitsuka TRACKTOP (two variations)
- Onitsuka PANTS (two variations)
- MEXICO 66™ (two variations)
- DELECITY™ (two variations)
Fighting Ground
The second phase has commenced, which includes the following changes:
- The Master Rate for players in the Master League has been reset.
- Players who ranked within the top 500 in the Master League during the last phase have been elevated to Legend Rank.
Battle Adjustments
Unintended behaviors have been corrected, including:
- For the character Juri, an issue has been fixed concerning the difficulty of performing level 3 Super Art Kaisen Dankai Raku in Assisted Combo 3.
Battle Hub
- The number of tournament servers has been optimized in light of the newly added Master & Legend Rank option for League-Separated Tournaments.
- The availability schedule for assorted online content has been modified to align with the conclusion of daylight saving time across various regions. Retrieval deadlines for rewards from the Spooky Party Fighting Pass have also been revised accordingly.
Bug Fixes
A series of bugs have been addressed:
- An issue where certain attacks coinciding with a cinematic level 3 Super Art resulted in extended visual effects has been fixed.
- A display error concerning the Legend Rank icon and the incorrect number of rank stars on the results screen post-battle has been rectified.
- Issues with title unlocks in relation to earned kudos have been addressed. Note that upon earning kudos next time, any titles due to be unlocked may appear simultaneously, which is in accordance with the intended behavior.
- Additional minor bugs have also been resolved.
Developed and published by Capcom, Street Fighter 6 is the seventh main entry in the iconic Street Fighter franchise. The game was released on June 2, 2023, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. An arcade version of the game, to be published by Taito, is also slated for release later this year. The game was developed on the RE Engine and supports cross-platform play and rollback netcode. It also features a real-time commentary system, providing a tournament-style atmosphere.
Since its release, Street Fighter 6 has received widespread critical acclaim and has sold over 2 million units by July 2023. The game offers three overarching game modes and three control options, making it a versatile choice for both casual gamers and competitive players.
Capcom has a season pass planned for the game. It will add four new characters. The first of these two have been released: AKI and Rashid. The rest of them will be released in the coming days. The game is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC.
