The Wonderful 101 Remastered Vorkken Mode DLC Announced
The Wonderful 101 Remastered is getting new DLC with the announcement of the Vorkken mode. It was shown during a live stream for the Time Attack mode.
Prince Vorkken is the captain of the Guyzoch space pirates and one of the primary villains in The Wonderful 101. He is Immorta’s older brother and Wonder-Red’s competitor. Based on the video shared by Platinum Games during their live stream, he could be a new playable DLC character who will get a separate mode.
At this point, there were no details shared on the price or release of the DLC aside from showing a short glimpse of the new mode. Vorkken can transform into different creatures like a Scorpion and his powers appear purple in color compared to the Wonder-Red.
The DLC name is not finalized but they are calling it Vorkken mode for now. This is for the Wonderful 101 Remastered which is available on the PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The original Wonderful 101 was released exclusively for the Nintendo Wii U.
Platinum Games are currently working on The Wonderful 101 Remastered, Babylon’s Fall for Square Enix, and Bayonetta 3 for Nintendo. They have recently released Astral Chain and a mobile game World of Demons for Apple Arcade. The Wonderful 101 Remastered was presented as a Kickstarter before it launched in May 2020 for the PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
