#5. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is on track to be the most expansive and entertaining Yakuza game to date. In addition to building upon the role-playing aspects seen in the previous entry, the promise of wacky mini-games and unconventional activities like food delivery have us excited.
#4. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
Set in the same world as the Arkham games, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League boasts an open-world version of Metropolis, with each character offering a wider and more complex move set than the solo Batman experience. With its seamless four-player co-op, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is shaping up to be a potentially worthwhile multiplayer experience in 2024.
#3. Tekken 8
We’re hoping Tekken 8 does for the Tekken series what Street Fighter 6 has done for Capcom’s fighting game series. The potential is certainly there, and impressions from the closed beta and demo have been positive thus far. As such, Tekken 8 is the fighting game to look forward to in 2024.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 promises a continuation of the unique open-world action role-playing game experience that captivated players over a decade ago. Capcom’s dedication to preserving the essence of the original Dragon’s Dogma while refining and polishing its distinctive features is evident in what we’ve seen of the game. As such, Dragon’s Dogma 2 ranks high in our Most Anticipated Games list for 2024.
#1. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth’s shift to an open world and the addition of a new synergy mechanic in combat show great promise. With an estimated 40 to 100 hours of gameplay, it is set to be an epic journey that combines classic elements from the original with modern design. As such, Square Enix’s upcoming RPG gets the biggest nod in our Most Anticipated games list for 2024.
