Vampire The Masquerade – Bloodhunt is available for both PC and PS5. Here are the details on its resolution and frame rate.
The game is a console exclusive for the PS5 and it is not available on the Xbox Series. Since it is only released on the PS5 and as a result it is a current-generation exclusive, you might be left wondering what kind of technical performance it carries on Sony’s consoles.
According to our friends at VGTech, the game runs with two different modes on the PS5: Performance and Quality mode. They both offer different resolutions and frame rates.
Quality Mode renders at a native resolution of 3840×2160.
Performance Mode renders at a native resolution of 2560×1440 and uses FSR 1.0 to upscale from 2560×1440 to 3840×2160.
The UI renders at 3840×2160 for both modes.
Both of these modes run with a target of 60 FPS. In the case of the Quality mode, it can average out in the low 50s on the PS5. It is best suited for the VRR update on the PS5 which allows the console to improve the controller response time while maintaining higher quality.
The performance mode closely averages out at 60 FPS and if you don’t have a VRR-supported display, you can choose this mode which will lead to a slightly lower resolution.
If you have the PC version of Vampire The Masquerade – Bloodhunt, you can get better performance and graphics if you have capable hardware. If you have the PS5, it is not a bad version to play at all because you get a smooth controller response at 60 FPS with a mixture of different graphics modes.
