Tunic Xbox One vs. Xbox Series S vs. Xbox Series X Comparison – Resolution and Frame Rate

Tunic is available on the Xbox consoles in addition to PC. Here’s the resolution and frame rate of the game on these platforms.

As a brand new game that was launched on Xbox Game Pass, it is a pretty decent homage to the Zelda genre of video games and it is an Xbox console exclusive to boot. If you don’t own the latest Xbox console, there is no need to worry as it is playable on almost all of these variants.

First of all, some good news. Tunic renders at 60 FPS on all of the Xbox consoles aside from Xbox One S. It doesn’t matter if you own Xbox One X, or Xbox Series S. You will get 60 FPS performance on these consoles.

Now with that out of the way, the game does drop down the resolution on these consoles. In the case of Xbox One and Xbox One S, the game drops down the resolution to 900p while the UI renders at 1080p. In the case of Xbox One X and Xbox Series S, it renders at a native resolution of 1080p.

If you want to play the game at 4K resolution, your only choice is Xbox Series X. It renders at 4K resolution and targets 60 FPS on Microsoft’s most powerful console.

The other good news is that this is a pretty much locked 60 FPS experience on the Xbox consoles while it is also locked at 30 FPS on the Xbox One S.

Tunic is available now for the Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC. It can be played through the Xbox Game Pass.
