Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Price Drops to $22.99

Microsoft has announced a price reduction for its Xbox Game Pass subscription services, lowering the monthly cost of Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass starting today. Game Pass Ultimate is now priced at $22.99 per month, down from $29.99, while PC Game Pass drops to $13.99 from $16.49. The company notes that pricing may vary depending on region.

Alongside the pricing update, Microsoft confirmed a change to how future Call of Duty titles will be added to the service. New entries in the franchise will no longer be available on Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass at launch. Instead, upcoming Call of Duty releases will be introduced to the library during the following holiday season, roughly a year after their initial release.

Existing Call of Duty titles currently available through Game Pass will remain accessible to subscribers, and the broader offering of the service remains unchanged. Game Pass Ultimate continues to include access to a large catalog of games across console and PC, alongside online multiplayer, cloud gaming, in-game benefits, and day-one releases for select titles.

Microsoft states that the pricing adjustment reflects player feedback and aims to better align the service with a wide range of users across different regions and preferences. The company also indicated that it will continue to evaluate its subscription model over time based on community response.
