Xbox Games With Gold August 2023 Lineup Announced
The Xbox Games With Gold lineup for the month of August, 2023 has been announced by Microsoft. Here are the latest additions to the game libraries of subscribers.
Microsoft had previously added two Xbox One games and two Xbox 360 games to the service each month, though it is no longer offering them since October 2022. Both of the games mentioned below can be played on any of the existing Xbox platforms, including the Xbox Series X/S via backward compatibility.

In the month of August, 2023, Xbox Games With Gold offers the following lineup:
- Blue Fire ($19.99 ERP): Available August 1 to 31
- Inertial Drift ($19.99 ERP): Available August 1 to August 31
In Blue Fire, players will embark on a journey through the desolated kingdom of Penumbra, which has been taken over by evil forces, and discover the hidden secrets of this long-forgotten land. They’ll also have the opportunity to explore mystical temples, encounter survivors and take on strange quests to collect valuable items. Along your adventure, you’ll slash your way through daunting adversaries, roam across mysterious and abandoned regions, leap through deadly traps and ultimately master the art of movement.
Inertial Drift is and arcade racer that is set in a 90’s retro future, with a unique handling model and satisfying twin-stick drift mechanics. The game offers a whole new level of accessibility and challenge to the arcade racing genre, with a driving experience that is unlike anything seen before. Unique Twin Stick Controls are used for precision drifting, where the right stick gives you total control over your drift. The resultant game offers an intuitive experience for new players and is uniquely challenging for pros. It features 16 cars, each of which feels different to play, with unique characteristics to master. The single-player story mode includes a mix of races, head-to-heads, time trials and style showdowns.
