Xbox Live Games With Gold May 2023 Lineup Announced
The Xbox Live Games With Gold lineup for the month of May, 2023 has been announced by Microsoft. Here are the latest additions to the game libraries of subscribers.
Despite being long eclipsed by Xbox Game Pass, the Xbox Live Games With Gold service is still active and going strong. Microsoft has previously added two Xbox One games and two Xbox 360 games to the service each month, though it is no longer offering them since October 2022. Both of the games mentioned below can be played on any of the existing Xbox platforms, including the Xbox Series X/S via backward compatibility.
Xbox Games With Gold For May 2023
In the month of May, 2023, Xbox Games With Gold offers the following lineup:
- Star Wars Episode I Racer ($14.99 ERP): Available May 1 to 31
- Hoa ($14.99 ERP): Available May 16 to June 15
Star Wars Episode I Racer will give subscribers the opportunity to get in on some retro pod racing action. You’ll get to take on the role of a young Anakin Skywalker, or one of the more experienced pod racers, as you fly past and over flaming methane lakes, through meteor showers, past Tusken Raiders, and more on your two enormous jet engines, traveling at the speed of 600 MPH.
Meanwhile, in Hoa, Xbox Live Gold subscribers will have the opportunity to explore a mythologically influenced world. You’ll take on the role of the titular fairy who is returning to her native land to revitalize the landscape and its inhabitants. This soothing, contemplative puzzle-platformer offers a distinct art style using hand-painted graphics and a memorable soundtrack.
In case you missed it, April‘s Xbox Games With Gold titles are still available for subscribers to add to their game libraries. Peaky Blinders: Mastermind is a puzzle-adventure game, based on the multi-award-winning TV show, in which you command important characters and execute perfectly timed schemes in order to become the Mastermind. Meanwhile, Out of Space is a survival and strategy co-op multiplayer video game developed by Brazilian development team Behold Studios, the same creators of Chroma Squad.
