7 Games Leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium in May 2026

Sony is set to remove seven titles from the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalog in May 2026, with a mix of action, racing, and narrative-driven experiences leaving the subscription service.

The lineup includes MotoGP 25, Sand Land, Soul Hackers 2, Mortal Shell, Control Ultimate Edition, The Dark Pictures Anthology Man of Medan, and The Dark Pictures Anthology Little Hope. These removals affect both Extra and Premium tier subscribers, continuing the regular rotation of the service’s game library.

Among the titles, Control Ultimate Edition stands out as one of the more notable departures, having been available on PS Plus since its launch on February 2, 2021. Soul Hackers 2, Atlus’ cyberpunk RPG, joined the service later on February 20, 2024, while Mortal Shell has been part of the catalog since December 7, 2021.

More recent additions, such as MotoGP 25 and Sand Land, are also set to leave after relatively shorter stays. Both titles were added on June 17, 2025, following their respective releases in April 2025 and April 2024.

The Dark Pictures Anthology entries Man of Medan and Little Hope, which originally joined in July 2022 and October 2022, round out the list. Their removal marks the exit of two of the series’ early installments from the subscription lineup.

Subscribers who wish to continue playing these games will need to purchase them once they are removed from the service in May 2026.
