Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced update 1.0.7 is now available, adding new customisation options that let players hide Edward’s pistols and disable visual perk effects.
The update also introduces a new rescueable companion, while addressing a wide range of gameplay, quest, visual, stability, accessibility, and platform-specific issues. The patch also includes improvements to online and general gameplay functionality across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC.

- Fixed an issue where incapacitated ships could be sunk after coming out of a harpooning activity.

- Fixed an issue where Edward could not assassinate enemies investigating the haystack where he was hiding.
- Fixed an issue where wildlife could be possessed when shot with the Gargoyle’s Breath Pistol.
- Fixed an issue where Edward could become frozen mid-air during an air assassination if the target was killed by someone else first.
- Fixed an issue where Edward could take damage from nearby barrels while hiding and hanging on a wall.
- Fixed multiple Boarding issues where enemies could ignore Edward after he landed on deck.
- Fixed an issue where the Padre might not follow Edward into a Fort raid.
- Fixed multiple issues where enemies could rise again after being hit by a smoke bomb.
- Fixed issues involving enemy ships spawning unexpectedly and causing other ships to behave erratically.
- Fixed an issue where Edward could be killed during a minigame because of a nearby dead body.
- Fixed an issue where Edward could become stuck repeatedly breaking down a Fort’s War Room Door.

UI and Menu
- Fixed an issue where multiple world map icons would not update after all activities were completed.
- Fixed an issue where players could use the spyglass on HMS Prince beyond 500 metres while in fog.
- Fixed issues with Photo Mode when the HUD background was enabled.
Visuals and Graphics
- Fixed an animation issue where Edward’s hands would not synchronise with the wheel after a Fort takeover.
- Fixed minor animation issues involving parkour and assassination.
- Fixed an issue where the lift on ships could glow excessively after using Eagle Vision.
- Fixed an issue where the Blowpipe could appear after harpooning despite being set to hidden.
- Fixed various graphical loading issues.
Stability and Optimisations
- Fixed occasional crashes when opening the Store or News panel.
- Fixed crashes that could occur when selecting ships in Kenway’s Fleet selection menu.
- Fixed a rare PS5 crash when players entered the Out of Bounds.
- Fixed other minor issues affecting the game.

- Fixed multiple issues involving missing sound effects.
Save and Load
- Fixed an issue where certain music would not play after loading a save file.
- Fixed an issue where Stede Bonnet could be missing when players loaded a previous save file made before purchasing the British cutlasses.
Accessibility
- Fixed multiple colour-blindness issues affecting the Red-Green and Blue-Yellow preset settings.
- Fixed missing menu narrations.
- Fixed missing gameplay captions.
Platform Specific
- Fixed an issue where enabling HDR could cause a black screen on Steam Deck.
Quest Fixes
- Fixed visibility loading issues affecting the jellyfish walls in Wayward Souls Rift.
- Fixed an issue in Upton Travers where British guards would not interact with Upton unless Edward was nearby.
- Fixed an issue in Upton Travers where British guards would attack Edward while he was blended in.
- Fixed an exploit in Right-Hand Man that allowed players to complete the objective without doing anything.
- Fixed an issue in Everything is Permitted where Ah Tabai could freeze if Edward assassinated his target first.
- Fixed an issue in Everything is Permitted where Ah Tabai could become stun locked if Edward killed his target.
- Fixed an issue in The Sage’s Buried Secret where James Kidd could become stuck if Edward navigated ahead of him.
- Fixed an issue in The Final Contract where players could attack The Hollander’s allied ship.
- Fixed an issue in A Proper Shipwright where one of the British Fleet’s ships could appear out of bounds.
