Borderlands 3 Teased By Gearbox Along With Another Game

by Ali Haider

Here’s when you will be able to see Borderlands 3 as teased by Gearbox Software. They are also slowly hinting at another game announcement but that might not be something entirely new.

Borderlands 3 has been rumored for so long now that it has become a running joke among the community. It was first hinted at E3 last year but as the event drew closer, Gearbox Software pulled back saying that they don’t have anything to announce at E3 2018. Despite this, the rumors about the game were still making their rounds online.

It is not a hidden secret that Gearbox Software is working on Borderlands 3. They released Borderlands 2 and its prequel almost 5 years ago so it has been a while before a new mainline Borderlands game is released.

There are currently two rumors regarding the series that are making the rounds online.

Borderlands 3 Release Date? When Will Borderlands 3 Get Announced?

The first rumor is about Borderlands 3 which has been leaked in the past. There are screenshots and snippets from the game’s supposed art style test available to view online. The game has also been confirmed to be in development even if not officially, so its existence is no big secret. The only thing that remains now is to announce it properly and that might happen at the upcoming PAX in Boston.

The other tease is about Borderlands 1 Remaster for the current generation consoles. While Borderlands 2 and its prequel are available on PS4 and Xbox One, the first game is missing in action especially with the lack of backward compatibility on PS4. The remaster has been leaked by the Korean rating board and if the announcement is happening, then it might be for the remaster.

Gearbox has actually teased two game announcements at PAX so either we are getting both of them, or they are going to announce a whole different game at the upcoming PAX. In other news, this short teaser might have been enough to create a surge in stock for the publisher Take-Two Interactive.
